Chemically bonded protection.

 

Chemical bonding of OxSiCoat to the substrate is what prevents corrosive elements infecting the metal. The non-porous glass outer shell prevents any degradation of the protective barrier that OxSiCoat provides.

The electron microscope image below shows a cutaway side view of a bright, reflective aluminum panel with the OxSiCoat coating. The OxSiCoat layer chemically bonded to the substrate, providing a smooth seamless outer surface that is not vulnerable to corrosion.
